Elephants invade Gbapolu County, destroyed several farm crops

Reports from Gbarpolu County say giant size elephants have invaded several farms in Gbarma District, destroying crops.

According to the reports, the elephants’ invasions have created hunger and are also impeding academic and normal activities in the area.

Local Authorities in the County are calling on residents to light up large fires to scare away the wide animals.

FARBRIC NEWS, Bomi County Correspondent Murphy Nyei in Tubmanburg City said the elephants in their large numbers have for several days now continued to destroy farm crops and blocking major intercessions preventing people from moving around.

Gbapolu County densely wooded rain forests are home to many wide life including elephants.
