Five Die in Tragic Motor Accident along Monrovia – Kakata Highway

A tragic motor accident along the Monrovia-Kakata Highway has reportedly left at least five persons dead and several others critically injured.

The incident occurred in the evening hours on Sunday, when a taxi and a pick-up collided head-on around a place known as Morris Farm.

The News of the fatal accident comes when citizens of Margibi County are currently mourning the death of five persons who got drained in the Dan River after a canoe capsized.

Eyewitnesses blamed the accident on over speeding.

FARBRIC News, Margibi County correspondent Prince Saye in Kakata City said the injured persons were rushed to C. H. Rennie Hospital in Kakata for treatment, following the accident.

However, the critically injured persons were later transferred to the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Monrovia, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
