Bong County District #3 representative, Marvin Cole, said the reason Citizens of the County continue to live in hopeless poverty due to the lack to visionary leaders to liberate them.

Representative Cole, who is also a candidate in the pending senatorial by-election in the County, alleged that past leaders misused funds that were meant to develop the County.

The CDC lawmaker named Bong Technical College as one of the abandoned projects in the County and vowed to prosecute former county’s officials, who allegedly misappropriated the over US$ 7000000 intended to construct the College.

The Bong County lawmaker made the statement on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, when he appeared on FARBRIC Radio morning Talk-show program, New Dawn.

He also disclosed that Vice President Jewel Howard Taylor’s recent statement in the County, urging local government officials to join the governing Coalition for Democratic Change or be prepared to loss their job, wasn’t divisive as it’s been portrait in some quarters.
