A day following President George Weah’s two weeks ultimatum for ex- Government officials to return vehicles, official says the Special Presidential Task Force on asset vehicles has retrieved at least 27 government-owned vehicles.
Benedict Reeves, head of the taskforce, also said five other vehicles that were hidden have also been recovered.
President Weah in a recent statement gave all former officials of government a period of two weeks to turn over official government vehicles in their possession.
Mr. Reeves is at the same time calling for a reshuffle at the General Services Agency or GSA to ensure an effective management of government’s assets.
