President Sirleaf has said she is satisfied with the level of transformation that has taken place in the Liberia National Police over the years.
President Sirleaf said the LNP has now moved from a police of public enemy to a people centered institution.
The Liberian Leader made the remarks Wednesday when she dedicated the Zone six Police Station in Browerville City.
The project is a joint initiative of the LNP and the community dwellers.
Speaking at the dedicatory ceremony, President Sirleaf stressed that the initiative is a true example of corporation between the Police and the Citizens.
In a related development, President Sirleaf has dedicated the White Plains Water Treatment Plant in Harrisburg,Montserrado County.
The 40.6-milliom United States dollars grant project is being supported by the African Development Bank.
It started in 2012 but was delay due to the Ebola outbreak in Liberia and is expected to be completed in May of 2018.
White Plains Water Treatment Plant will now supply 16milliom gallons of water per day as compare to the previous 5-milliom gallons of water being supply per day by the Liberia water and sewer corporation.
President Sirleaf speaking at the ceremony, called on the community residents to protect the plant and be proud of what their government and partners have done.
