Culture Ambassador, Juli Endee has said Liberia will have perpetual peace and stability if every Liberian is treated equally and fairly under the law.
Ambassador Endee, Chief Executive Officer of the Crusaders for Peace, said peace only prevails in a society where there is honesty, transparency and respect for all citizens.
She made the remarks on Saturday during a divine intercessory service held at the St. Peters Lutheran Church for peace and stability in Liberia.
Endee urged Liberians to pray in one accord for God to stop enemies of the state, who are wishing for the outbreak violence.
Ambassador Endee said violence has never solved problems but hurt the country and it’s people in many ways.
Carter Center Liberia, USAID and the Swedish Embassy near Monrovia are sponsors of the Liberia Crusader for Peace violence prevention and peace initiative project across Liberia.
Also speaking at the divine intercessory service, Mr. Pewee Flomoku, Carter Center-Liberia Chief of Party urged Liberians to stop preaching messages of violence.
Mr. Flomoku said peace in any society breeds development and improves people standard of living.
