Pro-Democracy Group highlights increasing criminal rate in Sinkor

A local pro-democracy group, Progressive Social Alethic and Intellectual Club, has said crime is on the increase in the Sinkor Community of Saye Town.

The Community is situated in Montserrado County District ‘8’.

Henry Barclay, spokesman of the pro-democracy group, told Farbric News, areas of Saye Town where there is no electricity have become the breeding ground for the criminals.

Mr. Barclay said there is power outage in the Community as a result of a damaged transformer.

Barclay is meanwhile asking management of the Liberia Electricity Corporation to restore electricity in the area to curtail the growing criminal rate.
