The opposition Coalition for Democratic Change or CDC has lost another senior partisan to the ruling Unity Party of Joseph Boakai.
Madam Nancy Galamia, CDC’s Lofa County Chairlady, says she prefers Vice president Boakai and not Senator George Weah to succeed President Sirleaf in the October elections.
Madam Galamia speaking on Monday in Voinjama City said the CDC has lost its relevance and cannot lead Liberia in a positive direction after President Sirleaf.
The former CDC stalwart asserted that Vice President Boakai from all indications is the best choice for the Nation.
Madam Galamia is among several senior partisans that have resigned from the CDC for almost similar reasons.
Former Liberian Ambassador to the United States, Nathaniel Barnes of the National Patriotic Party walked out of the coalition early this month.
Prior to Dr. Barnes resignation, another staunch member of the CDC Kanio Bai Gbala deflected to the Liberty Party.
