CDC Endorses Nuwoe Scott for District ‘4’, Ahead of Primary

The Coalition for Democratic Change has declared support for Liberty Party former National Treasurer Nuwoe Scott’s desire to contest on the Coalition’s ticket in the absence of primary.

The onetime staunch supporter of Charles Brumskine officially joined the CDC on May 10, 2017, a day after she resigned from the Liberty Party.

Madam Scott was received by Senator Weah and an array of CDC’s hierarchy including vice standard bearer Jowel-Howard Taylor.

The CDC political leader assured his new partisan of the party support for her ambition to contest for a seat in the Legislature; prissily District ‘4’ Montserrado County.

Senator Weah told the representative aspirant to trust his words and do away with the negative propagandas that says he cannot be trusted.

Though Madam Scott did not state reason for leaving the Liberty Party, credible sources say Cllr. Brumskine’s open support for longtime friend Soko Sackor’s representative bid would be reason for her resignation.

During her membership declaration statement, Nuwoe Scott reminded Liberian women against giving credence to things that would serve as hindrance to their goals.

She expressed her delight of being a bona fide CDCian and has called on other females to move to the party; where she says women are favored.
