Vice President Joseph Boakai says the UP-led Government poorly managed its time in the implementation of its development agenda over the years

Liberia’s Vice President Joseph Boakai has said if elected Liberia’s next President, agriculture and road construction will be top on his agenda.

Speaking Wednesday as guest on the popular Bumper show on the State-run ELBC Radio, Vice President Boakai said the Government’s major challenge has been the fulfillment of its development goals.

He admitted that the UP led government did not properly manage time during its two terms office in several areas of its development agenda.

The Liberian Vice President now Standard Bearer of the ruling Unity Party said at 169 years since independence, Liberia has done well, but needs to do more, especially in providing young people opportunities.

Responding to a question as to who he is considering as his running mate in 2017, the Vice President and presidential hopeful said the door is opened to anyone, who shares the same vision and dream.
