Former CBL Governor, Dr. Mills Jones, has said dares anyone or group to stop him from contesting the 2017 elections as a presidential candidate, according to him, as it is being widely speculated.

Dr. Jones told partisans of the Movement for Economic Empowerment, MOVEE, in Monrovia that he remains a major contender in the coming elections and that neither laws nor negotiations can stop him.

Jones’ controversial loan scheme as Central Bank Governor has made him well known, mainly in rural Liberia, where he is popularly called, ‘Poverty Doctor’.

Former CBL Governor, Mill Jones speaking during the weekend at an event marking the dedication of MOVEE’s Montserrado County Headquarters in Paynesville said his landmark achievements at the CBL speak well for him.
